The glorious traditions of English Medieval, Victorian and Modern Stained Glass are lovingly recreated at the Albion Glass
Studio in Brampton, a small market town on the edge of the North Pennines and Scottish Borders. Here Alex Haynes uses a whole range of traditional materials and techniques to produce windows for churches,
commercial buildings and private homes to clients individual commissions. Glass painting, Kiln firing, Acid etching and Sandblasting techniques are employed to produce Leaded and Tiffany work of the highest
quality. A full Restoration, Repair and Re-leading service is also offered.
As a member of the British Society of Master Glass Painters this studio enjoys an excellent working relationship with the main
Church bodies and has recently completed new commissions for memorial and millennium windows for several churches in the North of England. We are also pleased to be developing good communications with English
Heritage, Local Schools, Further Education Colleges and Civic Organisations.
Prices vary according to size and complexity and range from £400 to £3500 per sq.mtr.
LIGHTING
Albion Glass produce a wide
range of leaded glass Pendant lights, Table Lamps and Wall Lights using both traditional Tiffany patterns and Alex's own designs. Every lamp is handmade using a variety of glass from US, UK and European sources,
thereby offering an almost infinite range of textures, colours and shades to meet individual preferences. The high standards of design, material, and construction employed combine to create a product that is not
